Cologne cathedral 十二月 19, 2019 获取链接 Facebook X Pinterest 电子邮件 其他应用 Of all the churches, Cologne Church ranks second in Germany (second only to Ulm Cathedral in Ulm) and third in the world. In terms of scale, it is the largest church in northern Europe. Combining grandeur and detail, it is known as the perfect example of Gothic church architecture. It was built in 1248, and the project was intermittent. It was not completed until 1880 by Kaiser Wilhelm I. It took more than 600 years, and it is still under repair. The cathedral is a symbol of European Christian authority and a model of Gothic religious architectural art. It is a rare five-entry building. The interior space is raised and widened, and the high tower goes straight to the sky, symbolizing the desire for communication between man and God. In addition to the two high towers, there are several small minarets on the outside of the church. The walls of the church are filled with stained glass depicting Bible characters; the bell tower is equipped with five bells, the heaviest of which is 24 tons. There are many treasures in the Cologne Cathedral. During the Second World War, the church was partially damaged and has been being restored for nearly 20 years. The Cologne Cathedral, a symbol of faith and a testimony of European cultural traditions, was eventually preserved. I have been to many churches before I came to Cologne, but the size of this church really shocked me. Its appearance is black and gray, and it is said to have been destroyed by the fire. Mottled traces of history are left behind, making it more storytelling. 评论
