The Great Christmas Opening

I went to the Christmas opening on 30th,Novermber. This is Turku's grandest Christmas opening ceremony. I waited at the door of Turku's church with many citizens of Turku and counted down waiting for the Christmas tree to light up. This is the first time I have seen so many citizens in Turku since Finland entered polar night. After learning some Finnish, I used Finnish to count down with Finns. For the first time, I felt that I had lived here for a long time, just like this is my home, and I felt very warm. After Christmas lights, I went to the Christmas market with my friends. The market sells a lot of handicrafts, including Christmas hats, scarves, Christmas socks, and some food. I drank glogi and gingerbread. It suddenly snowed during the play. This was the first time I saw such heavy snow. I felt very beautiful and romantic. We watched the fireworks show under the Christmas tree and for the first time saw people wearing colored clothes for a Christmas parade.I originally thought Finns didn't like to socialize so much, but their personality was indifferent, but this event made me feel that I lived in a warm extended family. I was very grateful for this event and I was lucky to be able to participate in such a grand event.
